Hello, Welcome, G'Day, Bon Jour, Goedendag, Goodag, Hallo, Buenos Dias, Buongiorno, Moien, Bom Dia.

This website is devoted to Push Puppets - you know those little toys that wiggle, jiggle, dance & collapse when you push up on the button in their bases.

Around the world they are called a variety of names - Wakouwa, Push-Up Button Puppet, Collapsing Toy, Thumb Puppet, Wackelfigur, Wackelfiguren, Wackeltiere, Wackeltier, Drückmännchen, Drücktier, Drückerfigur, Drukfigur, Drukpoppetje, Mackaci Figurky, Pupazzi, Figurine en Bois ......... and the list goes on and on and on...

The site is based on some of my own personal collection of push puppets - both new and old - which I have acquired over the past 20 odd years.

I initially started collecting just wooden push puppets - a Purist at heart (!!) - but over the last couple of years I have also started amassing a collection of plastic & celluoid creatures...

This site has been "off-line" for a few years - so rather than wait until I have got everything back together again, I shall include the relevant sections as soon as they become available - so please look in the "What's New" section to check on my progress.
